A great telescope for anyone breaking into the hobby, or those looking to maximise the amount of light and detail they can observe, particularly for fainter deep sky objects.

A definite shift from the Nikon D5300, or DSLRs in general. With the dedicated cooling component, it almost entirely eradicates the thermal noise from the DSLR. If you want to chase every level of detail gathered on the sensor through your scope, worth exploring the mono range of cameras.

Controller
A capable, genuinely all-in-one controller for the manual rig — captures, guides and plate-solves without needing a laptop out in the field. The app takes some getting used to though, and the polar alignment routine in particular is easy to misread at first.
The Nikon D5300 For Astrophotography

The Nikon D5300 is a great, budget-friendly introduction into the world of astrophotography, without needing a specialised, cooled camera from the get go. Whilst there are trade offs, you'll be pleasantly surprised with the output.

Overall this is a fantastic telescope, providing a great platform stepping away from automated astrophotography with the Seestar, to a manual but more involved process with a manual rig. You can see and feel the build quality immediately, and the viewing experience is crystal clear.
