After a prolonged period of dense cloudy nights here in the South West UK, I was finally able to set up the rig and get a shot of the Iris Nebula. I’ve attempted this before, but on the Seestar S50, and was impressed by the level of detail and colour range captured. It inspired me to run a comparison against a full manual rig, up against my ASI533MC Pro camera. I’m super pleased with the output; colour depth of the core and surrounding material, visible molecular dust clouds, and a richer star field within the shot.
